Remembering
the Society
in Your Will
The
Society is a charity and consequently gifts for its
charitable purposes are valid. If you are
making a will you could make a gift for the charitable
purposes of the Society. You can also nominate
which of the Society's overseas
programs in Africa and Asia in Africa and
Asia you would like to fund.
I
give [describe the amount or nature of the
gift] to the Anti-Slavery Society for its
general charitable purposes. I further
direct that the receipt by or on behalf of the
Board of Trustees of the Anti-Slavery Society
for the time being shall be a full and
sufficient discharge.

If
you wish, you may perpetuate your memory by giving a
name to the gift, for example, the Mary Doe Memorial
Trust. Such a gift may take either of the
following forms:
I
give [describe the amount or nature of the
gift] to the members of the Board of Trustees
of the Anti-Slavery Society to establish a
fund to be known as [name of fund, for
example, the Mary Doe Charitable Trust or the
John Doe Foundation] and to hold the Fund on
trust for its general charitable purposes.
